If you have a summoned friend or spirit, usually it is proper to have the summon fight the invader 1v1 first, then the host, have them approach and point at the invader to challenge them. It is unfair and unsportsmanlike to ambush, pull a fight into enemy NPC’s, or attack someone while they are otherwise occupied. When entering a world as an invader, it is always in good manners to immediately approach the invaded and use an emote, such as a wave, a bow, or a hello carving to show your intentions. If they are a new player, inexperienced, or just need to get good, they might not appreciate the delay and inconvenience of you being in their world.
